Leviticus 19:16-17

¹⁶You shall not go about as ^(A)a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand against the ^[a]^(B)life of your neighbor; I am Yahweh.

¹⁷‘You ^(C)shall not hate your brother in your heart; you ^(D)may surely reprove your neighbor, and so not bear sin because of him.

Leviticus 19:16-17

New International Version

¹⁶“‘Do not go about spreading slander^(A) among your people.

“‘Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life.^(B) I am the Lord.

¹⁷“‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart.^(C) Rebuke your neighbor frankly^(D) so you will not share in their guilt.

¹⁶Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the Lord.

¹⁷Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
