²² All things have^[a] been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son desires^[b] to reveal him.’^(A)

³⁸ I speak what I have seen^(A) in the presence of the Father;^[a](B) so then, you do what you have heard from your father.’

⁹ Jesus said to him, ‘Have I been among you all this time and you do not know me, Philip? The one who has seen me has seen the Father.^(A) How can you say, “Show us the Father”?
