⁴⁸ When his parents saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him,^(A) ‘Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.’^(B)

³ When the wine ran out, Jesus’s mother told him, ‘They don’t have any wine.’

⁴ ‘What has this concern of yours to do with me,^[a](A) woman? ’^(B) Jesus asked. ‘My hour has not yet come.’

³ So his brothers^(A) said to him, ‘Leave here and go to Judea so that your disciples can see your works^(B) that you are doing. ⁴ For no one does anything in secret while he’s seeking public recognition. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.’ ⁵ (For not even his brothers believed in him.)
