³⁷ For I tell you, what is written must be fulfilled in me:^[a] And he was counted among the lawless.^[b](A) Yes, what is written about me is coming to its fulfilment.’^(B)

Judas’s Betrayal of Jesus

⁴⁷ While^(A) he was still speaking, suddenly a mob came, and one of the Twelve named Judas was leading them. He came near Jesus to kiss him,

⁴⁴ He told them, ‘These are my words^(A) that I spoke to you while I was still with you – that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets,^(B) and the Psalms^(C) must be fulfilled.’

¹⁸ ‘I’m not speaking about all of you; I know those I have chosen.^(A) But the Scripture^(B) must be fulfilled:^(C) The one who eats my bread^[a] has raised his heel against me.^[b](D)

³ So Judas took a company of soldiers and some officials^[a] from the chief priests and the Pharisees^(A) and came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.
