¹⁸ As Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brethren, Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.

⁴⁰ One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.

¹² And this is what I mean: that commonly among you one says, I hold to Paul; another, I hold to Apollos; the third, I hold to Cephas; the fourth, I hold to Christ.
