²⁸ Jesus said to them, ‘Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things,^(A) when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne,^(B) you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

¹⁶ The twenty-four elders, who were seated before God on their thrones, fell face down and worshipped God,

The Lamb Is Worthy

⁸ When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp^(A) and golden bowls^(B) filled with incense,^(C) which are the prayers of the saints.

⁴ Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God,^(A) who is seated on the throne, saying,

The Saints Reign with Christ

⁴ Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge.^(A) I also saw the souls of those^(B) who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus^(C) and because of the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands.^(D) They came to life^(E) and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.^(F)
