Faithful Service to Christ

⁴⁵ ‘Who then is a faithful and wise servant,^(A) whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?^(B)

² keeping our eyes on Jesus,^[a] the pioneer and perfecter^[b] of our faith. For the joy that lay before him,^[c] he endured the cross, despising the shame,^(A) and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
