¹⁹ Go, therefore, and make disciples^(A) of^[a] all nations,^(B) baptising^(C) them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

³⁸ Peter replied, ‘Repent^(A) and be baptised,^(B) each of you, in the name^(C) of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

⁴⁸ He commanded them to be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ.^(A) Then they asked him to stay for a few days.

² and asked them, ‘Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? ’^(A)

‘No,’ they told him, ‘we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.’^(B)
