¹⁴ ‘You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden.^(A)

The Light of the World

¹² Jesus spoke to them again: ‘I am^(A) the light^(B) of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.’^(C)

⁴⁶ I have come as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me would not remain in darkness.
