³⁷ But let your “yes” mean “yes,” and your “no” mean “no”. Anything more than this is from the evil one.^(A)

¹⁵ I am not praying that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.^(A)

³ But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.^(A)

¹⁸ The Lord will rescue me from every evil work and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom.^(A) To him be the glory for ever and ever! Amen.
