⁶ But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.^[a](A)

²⁶ So if they tell you, “See, he’s in the wilderness! ” don’t go out; or, “See, he’s in the storerooms! ” do not believe it.

²⁴ Consider the ravens:^(A) They don’t sow or reap; they don’t have a storeroom or a barn; yet God feeds them.^(B) Aren’t you worth much more than the birds?
