¹¹ I tell you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet^[a] with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.^(A)

⁴⁶ Paul and Barnabas boldly replied, ‘It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you reject it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.^(A)

⁶ When they resisted and blasphemed,^(A) he shook out his clothes^(B) and told them, ‘Your blood is on your own heads!^(C) I am innocent.^[a] From now on I will go to the Gentiles.’^(D)

²⁸ Therefore, let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen.’ ^[a]
