²⁰ Jesus told him, ‘Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man^(A) has no place to lay his head.’

⁶ But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins’ – then he told the paralytic, ‘Get up, take your stretcher, and go home.’

³² Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man,^(A) it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come.^(B)

⁴⁰ For as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish^[a](A) for three days and three nights,^(B) so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.
