A Girl Restored and a Woman Healed

¹⁸ As he was telling them these things,^(A) suddenly one of the leaders came and knelt down before him, saying, ‘My daughter has just died,^[a] but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.’^(B)

²⁵ But she came, knelt before him, and said, ‘Lord, help me! ’

²⁶ ‘At this, the servant fell face down before him and said, “Be patient with me, and I will pay you everything.”
