³⁰ And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus warned them sternly, ‘Be sure that no one finds out.’^(A)

A House Divided

²² Then a demon-possessed man^(A) who was blind and unable to speak was brought to him. He healed him, so that the man^[a] could both speak and see.^(B)

²⁵ Again Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes. The man looked intently and his sight was restored and he saw everything clearly.

⁴² ‘Receive your sight,’^(A) Jesus told him. ‘Your faith has saved you.’^(B)

⁷ ‘Go,’ he told him, ‘wash in the pool of Siloam’^(A) (which means ‘Sent’). So he left, washed, and came back seeing.^(B)
