²⁰ The Lord responded, ‘I have pardoned them as you requested.

³⁴ No longer will one teach his neighbour or his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,”^(A) for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them’^(B) – this is the Lord’s declaration. ‘For I will forgive their iniquity^(C) and never again remember their sin.

³ Perhaps when the house of Judah hears about all the disaster I am planning to bring on them, each one of them will turn from his evil way. Then I will forgive their iniquity^(A) and their sin.’
