17 Dar degeaba se aruncă laţul
înaintea ochilor tuturor păsărilor,
18 căci ei întind curse tocmai împotriva sângelui lor
şi sufletului lor îi întind ei laţuri.
19 Aceasta este soarta(A) tuturor celor lacomi de câştig:
lăcomia aduce pierderea celor ce se dedau la ea.
