Proverbs 26:2-4

² As the sparrow by wandering and the swallow by flying, so shall the causeless curse not come.

³ To the horse belongs a whip, to the ass a bridle, and to the fool’s back a rod.

⁴ Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him.
