²⁵ Long ago you established the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.^(A)
26 They will perish, but you will endure;
all of them will wear out like clothing.
You will change them like a garment,
and they will pass away.^(B)

⁴ All^[a] the stars in the sky^(A) will dissolve.
The sky will roll up like a scroll,^(B)
and its stars will all wither
as leaves wither on the vine,
and foliage on the fig tree.^(C)

In the beginning, Lord,
you established the earth,
and the heavens are the works of your hands;^(A)
11 they will perish, but you remain.
They will all wear out like clothing;^(B)
12 you will roll them up like a cloak,^[a]
and they will be changed like clothing.
But you are the same,
