¹⁷ The righteous ^(A)cry out, and the Lord hears
And rescues them from all their troubles.

¹⁸ The Lord ^(A)is near to the ^(B)brokenhearted
And saves those who are ^[a](C)crushed in spirit.

¹⁸ The Lord is ^(A)near to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him ^(B)in truth.

¹⁴ And He has ^(A)lifted up a horn for His people,
^(B)Praise for all His godly ones,
For the sons of Israel, a people ^(C)near to Him.
^[a]Praise ^[b]the Lord!

^6 (A)Seek the Lord while He may be found;
^(B)Call upon Him while He is near.
