⁵ Through you we drive back our foes;
through your name we trample our enemies.^(A)

¹⁵ See, I will make you into a sharp threshing board,
new, with many teeth.
You will thresh mountains and pulverise them
and make hills into chaff.^(A)
16 You will winnow them^(B)
and a wind will carry them away,
a whirlwind will scatter them.
But you will rejoice in the Lord;
you will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

¹³ Rise and thresh,^(A) Daughter Zion,
for I will make your horns iron
and your hooves bronze
so that you can crush many peoples.^(B)
Then you^[a] will set apart their plunder^(C)
for the Lord,
their wealth for the Lord of the whole earth.

⁵ They will be like warriors in battle
trampling down the mud of the streets.
They will fight because the Lord is with them,
and they will put horsemen to shame.
