¹³ Now I don’t want you to be unaware,^(A) brothers and sisters, that I often planned to come to you (but was prevented until now^(B)) in order that I might have a fruitful ministry^[a] among you,^(C) just as I have had among the rest of the Gentiles.

¹⁴ Let our people learn to devote themselves to good works for pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful.^(A)

The Apostates’ Doom

¹² These people are dangerous reefs^[a] at your love feasts^(A) as they eat with you without reverence. They are shepherds who only look after themselves. They are waterless clouds carried along by winds;^(B) trees in late autumn – fruitless, twice dead and uprooted.
