Circumcision of the Heart

²⁵ Circumcision benefits you if you observe the law; but if you are a lawbreaker, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.^(A)

²⁷ A man who is physically uncircumcised, but who keeps the law, will judge you^(A) who are a lawbreaker in spite of having the letter of the law and circumcision.

⁹ If, however, you show favouritism,^(A) you commit sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

¹¹ For he who said, Do not commit adultery,^[a] also said, Do not murder.^[b](A) So if you do not commit adultery, but you murder, you are a lawbreaker.
