⁴ Or do you despise the riches of his kindness,^(A) restraint,^(B) and patience,^(C) not recognising^[a] that God’s kindness^(D) is intended to lead you to repentance?

²² Therefore, consider God’s kindness and severity: severity towards those who have fallen but God’s kindness^(A) towards you – if you remain in his kindness.^(B) Otherwise you too will be cut off.^(C)
