¹⁸ For Christ also suffered^[a] for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you^[b] to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit,

⁴ For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we are weak in him,^[a] but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.
