Psalm 88:5-9

^5 [a]Abandoned ^(A)among the dead,
Like the slain who lie in the grave,
Whom You no longer remember,
And they are ^(B)cut off from Your hand.
⁶ You have put me in ^(C)the lowest pit,
In ^(D)dark places, in the ^(E)depths.
⁷ Your wrath ^(F)has rested upon me,
And You have afflicted me with ^(G)all Your waves. Selah
⁸ You have removed ^(H)my acquaintances far from me;
You have made me an ^[b](I)object of loathing to them;
I am ^(J)shut up and cannot go out.
⁹ My ^(K)eye grows dim from misery;
I have ^(L)called upon You every day, Lord;
I have ^(M)spread out my ^[c]hands to You.
