² Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When a man makes a special vow to the Lord based on the equivalent value^[a] of persons,

³ then the equivalent value of a male from twenty to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels^[a] of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel.^[b]
