³約瑟對他的弟兄們說：「我是約瑟！我的父親還健在嗎？」他的弟兄們嚇得一句話也說不出來。

⁴約瑟叫他們走近一點，等他們靠近了，便說：「我是你們賣到埃及的弟弟約瑟！ ⁵現在，你們不要因為把我賣到這裡而自怨自責。上帝差我先來這裡，是為了保住大家的性命。

Genesis 45:3-5

New International Version

³Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Is my father still living?”^(A) But his brothers were not able to answer him,^(B) because they were terrified at his presence.^(C)

⁴Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Come close to me.”^(D) When they had done so, he said, “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt!^(E) ⁵And now, do not be distressed^(F) and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here,^(G) because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.^(H)

³And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.

⁴And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

⁵Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
