³⁸the son of Izhar,^(A) the son of Kohath,

the son of Levi, the son of Israel;

³⁹and Heman’s associate Asaph,^(B) who served at his right hand:

Asaph son of Berekiah, the son of Shimea,^(C)

⁴⁰the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah,^[a]
