39 瑪拿西的兒子瑪吉的子孫往基列去，佔了那地，趕出那裏的亞摩利人。 40 摩西把基列賜給瑪拿西的兒子瑪吉，他就住在那裏。 41 瑪拿西的子孫睚珥佔了基列的城鎮，就稱這些城鎮為哈倭特‧睚珥。

39 The descendants of Makir(A) son of Manasseh went to Gilead,(B) captured it and drove out the Amorites(C) who were there. 40 So Moses gave Gilead to the Makirites,(D) the descendants of Manasseh, and they settled there. 41 Jair,(E) a descendant of Manasseh, captured their settlements and called them Havvoth Jair.[a](F)
