5 筵宴的日子過了，約伯打發人去叫他們自潔。他清早起來，按著他們眾人的數目獻燔祭，因為他說：「恐怕我兒子犯了罪，心中棄掉神。」約伯常常這樣行。
6 有一天，神的眾子來侍立在耶和華面前，撒旦也來在其中。 7 耶和華問撒旦說：「你從哪裡來？」撒旦回答說：「我從地上走來走去，往返而來。」

5 When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified.(A) Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering(B) for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned(C) and cursed God(D) in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.
6 One day the angels[a](E) came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan[b](F) also came with them.(G) 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”(H)
