36 耶和华说：
“我的子民啊，
我要为你们申冤，
替你们报仇；
我要使巴比伦的江河枯竭，
泉源干涸。
37 巴比伦必沦为废墟，杳无人迹，
沦为豺狼出没的地方，
令人惊惧、嗤笑。
38 迦勒底人像群狮一样怒吼，
又像幼狮一样咆哮。
