32 當時，那裡有一大群豬正在山上吃食。那些鬼魔就央求耶穌准許它們進入那些豬裡，耶穌准許了它們。 33 鬼魔就從那個人身上出來，進入豬裡面。於是那群豬從山崖衝到湖裡淹死了。 34 那些放豬的人看見所發生的事，就逃跑了，去[a]把這事傳到城裡城外。

32 A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission. 33 When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake(A) and was drowned.
34 When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside,
