3 Also, these were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: Amnon (the eldest) of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, Daniel (second) of Abigail the Carmelitess,

² Absalom (third), the son of Maacah, daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur, Adonijah (fourth) the son of Haggith,

³ Shephatiah (fifth) of Abital, and Ithream (sixth) by his wife Eglah.
