²⁵ And from time to time, their brethren in their towns came with them for seven days.

²⁶ For these four chief gatekeepers were in perpetual office, and were of the Levites, and had charge of the chambers, and of the treasures in the House of God.

²⁷ And they lodged all around the House of God, because the charge was theirs. And they opened it every morning.
