²⁵ In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, and said, ‘This cup is the new covenant^(A) in my blood.^(B) Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’

⁶ He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant,^(A) not of the letter,^(B) but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
