⁴ My speech^(A) and my preaching were not with persuasive^(B) words of wisdom^[a] but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,

⁵ because our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit,^(A) and with full assurance. You know how we lived among you^(B) for your benefit,
