6 We are from God. Anyone who knows God listens to us;(A) anyone who is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deception.(B)

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God(C) and knows God. 8 The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

6 Noi însă suntem din Dumnezeu; cine(A) cunoaşte pe Dumnezeu ne ascultă; cine nu este din Dumnezeu nu ne ascultă. Prin aceasta cunoaştem duhul(B) adevărului şi duhul rătăcirii. 7 Preaiubiţilor(C), să ne iubim unii pe alţii; căci dragostea este de la Dumnezeu. Şi oricine iubeşte este născut din Dumnezeu şi cunoaşte pe Dumnezeu. 8 Cine nu iubeşte n-a(D) cunoscut pe Dumnezeu(E), pentru că Dumnezeu este dragoste.
