³⁹ Now as for the rest of the acts of Ahab and everything that he did, and ^(A)the ivory house which he built and all the cities which he built, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel? ⁴⁰ So Ahab ^[a]lay down with his fathers, and his son Ahaziah became king in his place.
