⁴⁰ So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahazi′ah his son reigned in his stead.

Jehoshaphat Reigns over Judah

⁴¹ Jehosh′aphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel. ⁴² Jehosh′aphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Azu′bah the daughter of Shilhi.
