The Bronze Pillars

15 He cast two bronze pillars,(A) each 8 metres[a] high and 5.4 metres[b] in circumference.[c](B) 16 He also made two capitals(C) of cast bronze to set on top of the pillars; 2.25 metres[d] was the height of the first capital, and 2.25 metres was also the height of the second capital. 17 The capitals on top of the pillars had gratings of latticework, wreaths[e] made of chainwork – seven for the first capital and seven for the second.
