¹⁶ Thus King Antiochus died there in the one hundred and forty-ninth year.^{[a] 17} When Lysias learned that the king was dead, he set up Antiochus the king’s^[b] son to reign. Lysias^[c] had brought him up from boyhood; he named him Eupator.
