²⁶ And she said, “Pardon me, my lord! ^(A)As your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood here beside you, praying to the Lord. ^27 (B)For this boy I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my request which I asked of Him. ^28 (C)So I have also ^[a]dedicated him to the Lord; as long as he lives he is ^[b]dedicated to the Lord.” And ^(D)he worshiped the Lord there.
