²⁴ Above all, fear the Lord and worship him faithfully with all your heart; consider the great things he has done for you.^(A)

⁴ and so that the Lord will fulfil his promise that he made to me: “If your sons take care to walk faithfully before me with all their heart and all their soul,^(A) you will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.”^(B)

⁴¹ I will take delight in them to do what is good for them, and with all my heart and mind I will faithfully plant them in this land.^(A)
