1 Samuel 18:11-13

New International Version

¹¹ and he hurled it, saying to himself,^(A) “I’ll pin David to the wall.” But David eluded^(B) him twice.^(C)

¹² Saul was afraid^(D) of David, because the Lord^(E) was with^(F) David but had departed from^(G) Saul. ¹³ So he sent David away from him and gave him command over a thousand men, and David led^(H) the troops in their campaigns.^(I)
