¹⁴ The cart came to the field of Joshua of Beth-shemesh and stopped there near a large rock. The people of the city chopped up the cart and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the Lord.^(A)

²² Araunah said to David, “My lord the king may take whatever he wants^[a] and offer it. Here are the oxen for a burnt offering and the threshing sledges and ox yokes for the wood.^(A)
