6 فَصَلَّى شَاوُلُ إلَى اللهِ، لَكِنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يُجِبْهُ. لَمْ يُكَلِّمِ اللهُ شَاوُلَ فِي الأحْلَامِ، وَلَا بِالأُورِيمِ، وَلَا بِالأنْبِيَاءَ. 7 وَأخِيرًا قَالَ شَاوُلُ لِضُبَّاطِهِ: «جِدُوا لِي عَرَّافَةً! سأذْهَبُ إلَيْهَا وَأسألُهَا.»
فَأجَابَ ضُبَّاطُهُ: «هُنَاكَ عَرَّافَةٌ فِي عَيْنِ دُورٍ.»
