12 Ioas(A) s-a făcut împărat în al şaptelea an al lui Iehu şi a domnit patruzeci de ani la Ierusalim. Mamă-sa se chema Ţibia, din Beer-Şeba. 2 Ioas a făcut ce este plăcut înaintea Domnului în tot timpul cât a urmat îndrumările preotului Iehoiada.
