2 Chronicles 12:13-15

¹³ So, King Rehoboam was strong in Jerusalem and reigned. For Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city in which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel to put His Name. And his mother’s name was Naamah, an Ammonitess.

¹⁴ And he did evil. For he did not prepare his heart to seek the LORD.

¹⁵ Also the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written in the Book of Shemaiah the Prophet and Iddo the Seer, in recounting the genealogy? And there was perpetual war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam.
