2 Chronicles 24:16-18

¹⁶ And they buried him with the kings, in the City of David, because he had done good in Israel and toward God and His House.

¹⁷ And after the death of Jehoiada, the princes of Judah came and did reverence to the king. And the king listened to them.

¹⁸ And they left the House of the LORD God of their fathers and served groves and idols. And wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem, because of this their trespass.
